The Nazareth YMCA Greater Service Drive

The month of May is dedicated to our Greater Service Drive.  The name of the campaign, chosen over 35 years ago, was selected “to emphasize the fact that it is our intent to upgrade the service rendered to meet the need.”  Although the need has changed over the years, the YMCA has always tried to fill it.

As of 2007, the Nazareth YMCA membership has grown to almost 3000 individuals, a majority of them under the age of 13.  Many programs are offered throughout the year, including swimming lessons, fitness and gymnastics classes, as well as School Age Child Care and Summer Camp.

Most programs charge a fee which is based on the cost of providing the program.  Financial assistance is available to all who qualify.  No one is turned away because of the inability to pay.  Every dollar raised in the Greater Service Drive is used to support YMCA programs that develop the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Our goal is to raise $60,000 this year. We're counting on the support of people like you to help continue these vital programs.  To donate, please contact Frank Frey, Executive Director, at (610) 759-3440.
