Camp Nazareth 2009:
The Nazareth YMCA has offered a
traditional camping program for
youngsters in the
greater Nazareth
area since 1984. Located at both
the YMCA facility and the Nazareth
Borough park, the program
provides
stimulating outdoor experiences for
youngsters entering kindergarten
through 7th grade. The program runs
Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. with
the option for extended hours (see
our Early Bird and Night Owl
programs below).
Facilities
at the Nazareth Borough Park include
wooded and open areas for games,
nature walks and crafts. The
authentic log cabin serves as a home
base for activities and provides
natural lodging for the occasional
summer shower and shelter from the
sun.
Activities
include swimming, hiking, crafts,
sports and field trips. Crafts,
sports and games are planned around
exciting weekly themes. Campers
begin their day at the Borough Park
and are bussed back to the YMCA
after lunch for a refreshing swim.
In the case of severely inclement
weather, campers spend the day at
the YMCA using the gym, pool,
auditorium, computer center, art and
activity rooms.
Camp registrations must be completed
by Friday of the preceding week.
Fees:
YMCA Member $95/week Non-member
$115/week
Camp
registration must be completed by
5:45 p.m. on Saturday of the
preceding week.
Anyone
registering after this time will be
subject to a $15 late registration
fee.
Extended Hours Program

Our Early Bird and
Night Owl Programs
provide before and
after camp care for
youngsters whose
parents work. Our
Early Bird Program
runs from
6:00am-8:30am and
our Night Owl
Program runs from
4:00pm-6:00pm. |
